Through witnessing the inherent beauty of the world, she draws upon structures of art and creativity to commune with truth and elevate one’s relationship with aesthetics. Julia is committed to connecting with ways of seeing and knowing to stretch her curiosity and invites others to consider how beauty holds our attention and transforms us.
Graduating with a BFA, Honours, from Queen’s University, Julia gained the tools to allow her creative ideas to be expressed with greater technique and precision. Through a variety of mediums, including digital drawing, painting and sculpture, her work articulates a particularly radiant and uniquely vibrant way of creating. What is clear in looking at Julia’s portfolio, and through connecting with Julia herself, is that these tools are only just one vehicle Julia uses to express, create, and connect.
